Welcome back to Kansas, Dorothy. This is a very good book. This book and its companion, Walking on Eggshells, can bring sanity where you thought none existed.
If you're already separated, it will help the non-BPD figure out what went wrong, and that it's not his/her fault. This is the companion workbook to Randi's SWOE book. If you can get your BPD spouse to work through it with you, that would be a big step towards making your lives better.
It brought much healing to my life. The tools are amazing and work. Thank you. This workbook is life changing. I live with the BP in my life and don't feel "crazy" anymore.
I would recommend this for other professionals and parents. I found this to be a very beneficial resource to help teens dealing with recovering after dating someone with Borderline Personality Disorder.
Period. This disorder is simply a bitch to have and a bitch to deal with. Period. Period. As a professional I work so well with BPD that I wind up with a lot of them. I work well with them because I intuitively know how to but I can never put what I do in words. How I help THEM I can write about but how I deal with them myself is just done without thinking and so I can't write about it.This book does that very well and it is something that anyone who is choosing to try to "work it out" with a BPD person really MUST HAVE.
